Frame(video) buffer |freɪm| |ˈbʌfə| — ⠔⠍⡠⡠⠎⢐⠣⡰⠚⡒

The video buffer is the part of the computer's physical memory that is used to store video or graphics information as it moves from the renderer (video card) to the display screen or monitor.
As with buffers in general, the video buffer is used to organize data and ensure that data moves efficiently from source to destination; while it shares many similarities with the system cache or video memory, it is separate from both.
