Drama for Stress Reduction (DSR) is a simple drama-based group mental health intervention that provides psychosocial support for individuals with trauma symptoms. Based on drama therapy techniques used around the world, including in Ukraine, it encourages expression and helps individuals relieve stress, manage symptoms, and empower themselves

DSR is not itself therapy but can be therapeutic. Participants will practice “mental hygiene” in a safe space by expressing themselves non-verbally and verbally through movement, sound, images, words, and structured scenes. DSR creates community.

Participants in the initial training can be teachers, actors, dancers, psychiatrists, psychologists, war veterans, refugees and others.

The workshop will be in English.
